Are We Really Teething Already?

Since Christmas I have been curiously watching my sweet baby drool until her shirt was soaked, rub her gums together endlessly, and put everything she could grab in her mouth. I thought she was starting to teethe, as did my mom and my sister-in-law who's a dental assistant. However, last night I became sure of it. Shelby is not a fussy baby and lately she's become sort of a grumpy cuss (pardon the french). Lately she only wants to be held and loved and she is fussy all the time. I feel so bad for my little girl. She has such a happy and sweet disposition, but not when she doesn't feel good. Luckily enough we've figured out a couple of things that help her enough so she will eat. She had stopped eating unless the bottle was cold which meant she was hungry all the time and not napping well. I hope I've got her sad little needs figured out. It's hard to be mom and not be able to fix what's wrong with your baby. All I can say is "I cannot believe she's teething already!" I also can't wait for that cute first tooth to pop up, but she sure is growing up way too fast.

  1. It gets easier! I know it's hard at first but you'll recognize a trend in the future. Unfortunately they can't just get all their teeth at once huh?! Way to go on the bread. I am jealous. It looks so yummy!!
