This Saturday Casey and I put up Shelby's crib. I am such a sentimental freak, but it was really cool to put our baby's bed together and organize her things. We've bought a few things and made a few things, so I took inventory after putting up her crib set. I just think it is so cute. Casey actually picked out the bedding and I love it!Eleanor even got excited, except that she still thinks this is her room. As I was putting the bedding on, I put the sheet on the mattress and put the mattress on the floor. I turned around to put the skirt around the crib and when I turned back, Ellie was laying comfortably on the mattress. She is the funniest dog in the world.
Well there is still lots to be done before her room is finished, but I like knowing she has a bed to sleep in when she arrives.
Oh my goodness! I LOVE that bedding! It's so fun to set things like that up and get everything ready! Babies are so fun!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I remember doing the same thing when I was pregnant with James. I used to stare at his little clothes...fold them...refold them. It's weird when they grow out of them!
